Description:

An extraordinary hybrid variety that produces longer fruit than the traditional telegraph types. With fast growing vigorous vines and abundant crops from early in the season, this cucumber is a sure favourite. The fruits are rich in vitamin C and vitamin A and ideal for slicing due to their elongated shape and crisp texture.

How to Grow:

Sow 12mm (1/2in) deep. Cover with a fine layer of compost and firm gently. Keep soil moist and warm. Seedlings appear in 6-10 days.

Thin clumps to the strongest seedlings allowing 40-50cm (16-20in) between plants. Train up wires, remove growing point at roof level. Untrained plants will not produce straight fruits. Keep well-watered and weeded.

Early Spring to Summer. Autumn too in sub-tropical areas

Notes:

These seeds are treated with a fungicide (Thiram or Apron XL), Do not eat the seeds or feed them to animals. Fungicide treatment is an AQIS requirement for certain varieties of seeds. It does not affect your crops or harm insects such as bees.
