Produces attractive golden bulbs that perform outstandingly in cool climates. The bold flavour and rich white flesh of this mid to late season onion is superior. With an excellent shelf life, crops can be stored for up to 10 months ensuring you are always in supply of delicious bulbs. This maincrop variety shows good resistance to bolting, a worthwhile choice for the home gardener

How to Grow: 

Sow in rows 20cm (8in) apart. Cover with 5mm (¼in) of soil, firm gently and keep moist. Thin emerging seedlings to 2cm (1in) apart and later to their final spacing of 10cm (4in) apart. Seedlings appear in 10-14 days.
Ensure beds are kept weed free and moist. Mulch between rows to retain moisture and add organic matter.
Ensure soil is well prepared with rotted manure and organic material. Harvest the crop as the tops dry down and begin to wilt.
